This file had all the information as the original one and came to be called the SNES ROM! The game codes were put into a cartridge, and years later, the data on the chip were copied onto a separate file. As for SNES ROM, they are mirror images of the game files. Thus, people needed something different to enjoy their favorite games once again, but this time on larger screens and more versatile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or laptops! This is where ROMs came in. Nowadays, no one has the option to carry around such consoles in their pockets.
